About the Herd

For those of you not familiar with us, the Herd was founded back in July of 07 by Matriarch and Conq, a real life couple that wanted a little something extra to spice up their sex life. The guild was crafted for Age of Conan and built around the idea of not taking it, anything, or anyone seriously. We mixed that fuck everything attitude with a retarded cutthroat theme stolen from Korgoth of Barbaria and ran with it creating from scratch what would become one of largest, most successful and most notorious clans on the interweb.

Beyond a heavy presence back in Conan, Darkfall, All Points Bulletin and DC Universe, we've played and still play countless shooters and strategy games to pass the time and aside from gaming we host a slew of ventrilo events such as sing-alongs, trivia nights, drinking games and the ever sacred, movie nights. Beyond the internet, we organize several real life events every year that bring in members from all over the states.

The Charter

One of the only things we take seriously around here is our Charter because these aren't just rules, they are standards. If you break them you won't just be punished, you will be seen as unfit and removed.

• Never Trash Talk

None of that "come on you fagget bitch attack me" or "lawl I just wtf pwnt you" crap.

• Never Rage Over Split Pixels

If you can't handle getting killed in a video game or being insulted on the internet then you obviously have more serious problems in your life to worry about. Get control of yourself or get the fuck out.

• Never Cheat or Exploit

We have a no tolerance stance on this, any kind of third party software usage, exploiting or general cheating will get you kicked the fuck out. We beat the crap out of people fair and square.

• Always Play Your Gender

As in don't play a female in game if you're obviously a dude in real life. This isn't about us caring what you play, it's about keeping a certain stereotype of gamer out of the Herd.

Requirements

You've gotta be at least 18 years old, have a good sense of humor, a big set of balls and of course be willing to obey our charter outlined above. Ventrilo and a working mic are also a must.

How to Join

If you made it past the About and Charter parts then you should have a pretty good idea of what we're about and what we expect, if that doesn't scare you off then by all means continue.

Our application process is pretty straightforward, first you'll need to Register a Forum Account and then you'll be asked if you want to Create an Application, click yes and fill out that form. Once you've submitted it you'll be redirected to new thread in our applications forum with your name on it, keep an eye on that thread and reply to any questions our members throw at you.

After a day or two your application will be accepted or denied.
